Every brass wall sconce below is cut, soldered, and polished by hand in our own workshop. The ELM series covers single-arm and twin-arm solid brass wall lights for corridors, porches, and hospitality spaces, while the alabaster series pairs natural stone shades with solid brass fitters for a warm, glare-free glow. Each fixture is built by our Zhongshan brass lantern factory team, then wired and tested before it ships.
The range runs three deep: wall sconces for vertical surfaces, a twelve-strong ceiling-mount collection of flush and semi-flush brass ceiling lights for low hallways and bedrooms, and a solid copper pier mount for gate pillars and garden walls. Custom Sizes DIAMETERS, DROPS & FINISHES Bespoke
One pier mount in the ELM-A wall sconce style: solid brass cap, clear glass sides, and a cast base that bolts straight to the pillar. Larger pillar sizes go through the bespoke bench.
Flush, Semi-Flush, or Pier Mount
Flush for Low Ceilings
Ceilings at or under eight feet take a flush mount. The fixture sits tight, headroom stays clear, and a frosted diffuser keeps the light even. Measure twice: most hallway mistakes come from a fixture that hangs too proud.
Semi-Flush for Presence
Foyers and bedrooms with height to spare take a short drop. The stem lets the shade breathe and throws light sideways as well as down. Hang the shade bottom around seven feet off the floor in walkways.
Pier Mounts for Outdoors
Gate pillars and garden walls take the copper pier head. Pick a cap wider than the pillar by a finger on each side, bed it on sealant, and let copper age — the patina is the finish, not a flaw.
Bulbs and Warmth
All three collections take replaceable screw-base bulbs, so brightness and color stay your call. Bedrooms and corridors read best around warm white; kitchens and stairwells take a step cooler. Send your room sizes with the quote request and we will suggest counts.
Damp and Dust
Bathrooms, porches, and gate pillars see moisture. Tell us the spot is exposed and we will seal the joints, gasket the glass, and drain the base at the bench — brass itself never rusts, the sealing is what keeps the inside dry.
Finish Choices
Polished for formal rooms, satin for hallways that get touched, antique patina for heritage jobs. Lacquer holds the shine indoors; outdoors we leave copper bare so it weathers evenly. Finish samples ship before production on bespoke orders.
Collection FAQ
Yes. Arm length, backplate width, shade diameter, and drop height are all bench variables. Send the opening or pillar size and we return a drawing for sign-off before cutting brass.
That is the normal way bespoke starts here. A phone photo of the site plus rough dimensions is enough for the first drawing; see how the bespoke bench works.
Every piece is wired and lit-tested on the bench before packing. Tell us your local supply voltage in the quote so the holder and leads match your electrician's rough-in.
Soft dry cloth for dust; damp cloth with mild soap for grime, then dry at once. Skip abrasives and acids — they cut through lacquer and spot the patina. Outdoor copper needs nothing at all.
